Radical Empathy: Finding a Path to Bridging Racial Divides
Our workshops are based on Terri Givens’ book, Radical Empathy, where Terri calls for action and offers practical steps to bridge racial divides. ‘Radical Empathy’ asks readers to move beyond an understanding of others’ lives and pain to understand the origins of our biases, including internalized oppression.
Although the country has made some progress to a more equal society, structural racism continues to impact the lives of African Americans in the United States. Terri combines her own experiences with the political to inspire radical social change.
